Tara Lain has three complimentary businesses:
Stella & Dot sells jewelry, accessories, and clothing.
EVER Skincare, part of the Stella & Dot family, offers skincare solutions.
Her third business is Style & Beauty by Tara Lain, which allows her to combine her passions for fashion and beauty under one brand.
As a busy mom to two boys, Tara enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, and hiking, but says motherhood is her proudest accomplishment.
Although she loves everything to do with fashion, beauty, and style, she proudly proclaims, “I am a boy mom and love it! My boys are 6 and 8 are so different from each other. They are my pride and joy.” Tara and her husband, Hans, have been married for almost 10 years.
She was inspired to join Stella and Dot because of the flexibility it gave her schedule and additional income it provided her family.
“Girl time and a sweet discount on awesome accessories and skincare is a bonus, too,” Tara adds.
She especially enjoys working with women who appreciate fashion, self-care, fun, and time with friends. Tara’s gracious personality, natural style, and love of skincare and beauty products help her connect with clients and meet their needs.
Like many mom business owners, Tara’s biggest challenge comes from having enough time to work on her business while balancing home life and raising children. Due to her busy schedule, she currently fits in work around her other commitments.
She recommends new business owners remember to take it day by day, schedule out work time, and make check lists to stay on track.
Tara looks up to the many strong women in her life rocking their businesses. As a MOB NW member, she is excited to connect with other moms who own businesses and learn from their experiences. She is excited to be helping to build a community of women who support each other.
Tara is also a board member of Impactful Women NW
