The MOB NW members and guests met at the beautiful VillaSport Athletic Club on August 17th for an evening of socializing, networking, and learning more about each other.
Tiffany Decker of Birthing Stone Doula shared information about her birth and postpartum doula services, as well as her upcoming grand opening celebrating her new downtown Beaverton location. Elizabeth of Healthfully Prepared shared samples from Thrive, freeze-dried fruits and vegetables she uses for snacks, cooking, and emergency supplies.

Creative Roots hosted the MOB NW networking event on August 9th. Located in NW Portland, Creative Roots offers summer camps, spring break camps, and after school care that focuses on educating the whole child. Coach Lia Dunlap gave a brief presentation about her life coaching services and 90 Power Plan Program. Rayah of Pocket of Sparrows brought fabric and examples of her work. Pocket of Sparrows creates custom tshirts, hoodies, skirts, and children's clothing. On July 31st, the MOB NW members and guests were welcoming into the calm space of Flourish: A Space for Dimensional Healing in Vancouver, Washington.
Flourish is a multi-disciplinary healing clinic offering massage therapy, yoga, drop-in meditation, physical therapy, acupuncture, and more. Our presenters for the evening were Tara, a Stella & Dot consultant and Alyssa, a Jamberry consultant. Tara demonstrated several convertible pieces of jewelry as well as other accessories. Alyssa provided a comprehensive speed demonstration for effectively applying Jamberry nail wraps. On July 20th, Melissa of Weichert Realtors hosted The MOB NW networking event at her Beaverton office. Melissa is a Portland-area realtor who focuses on empowering and educating her clients when they are buying or selling a home.
Our presenters for the evening were Kendra of Karysma Birth. Kendra is a doula, writing, and creator or one-of-a-kind birth jewelry. Our other presenter was Starr Decker of Radical Revelations. Starr is a speaker and life coach focusing on helping mompreneurs keep their personal relationships strong and connected. The Arrow Coffeehouse in Damascus prides itself on its community focus, welcoming atmosphere, and serving some of the best coffee in the Portland area. In addition to coffee drinks, you'll also find salads, sandwiches, and pastries available.
On July 12th, MOB NW members gathered to network and enjoy owner Erica's hospitality, excellent food, and tasty drinks. Our presenters were MOB NW board member and Younique consultant, Brittainie and Nedra, owner of Blue Deer Forrest, a web design company focused on serving the needs of women business owners through support and education. On June 26th, the Vancouver-area MOB NW meetup was held at Art ala Carte Vancouver. Art ala Carte is an all-ages open art studio that encourages and promotes creativity for all. Their Art ala Carte Mobile division brings the open-studio art concept to schools, libraries, corporate events, and parties all over the Portland/Vancouver area. Our presenters for this meet up were Shannon with Young Living and Stephanie from All the Wright Words. Shannon had just returned from the latest Young Living conference a few hours before the meet up, and she was excited to share information and the newest products being released. On June 14th, MOB NW members gathered at Treehouse Children's Boutique to network and meet new friends. Located on N. Williams, Treehouse sells locally made baby clothes, including their own label, wooden toys, and items to inspire creativity in young children. They also offer music and art for toddlers and children in their auditorium space. Each MOB NW meet up gives two MOB NW members an opportunity to present and share their business. Our presenters for this meet up were Julie from Traveling Julie Photography and Rebekah with Demarle at Home. Julie photographs newborns, children, families both here in Portland and occasionally on location at the coast. She also offers professional head shots and photos in and around work spaces.
