Happy Monday! I am loving these MOB Crush Monday posts. I have so many MOBS in line to highlight and I am so excited to share all of them with you. Let's jump in. Friendly reminder- there may be typos ;)
First on the list is Bunny Knots Co. Bunnies are adorable hand-tied headwraps for littles. I cannot even take how stinking cute these are. Britt Rainer is a serious hustler, she runs the entire show on her own. Production, social media, sales, web...all of it. Which is no small feat, considering her HUGE following. The bunnies sell out with in days...sometimes hours of a restock.
The MOB Crush began because of her GORGEOUS Instagram. I am a real sucker for good branding and a carefully curated media presence! The more I followed, the more I realized what a true MOB Rockstar Britt really is. She collaborates with a lot of fellow MOBS and is open to partnering with "mama-minded" brands. "Does not matter if you have 500 followers or 5million followers." which I totally dig!
The photos above were actually taken by another long time MOB Crush- Rebecca Rizzo Photographics. Becky's images are so breathtaking and captivating. When Becky joined the alliance, I had to pinch myself and double check that it was THE BECKY RIZZO!
Speaking of PHOTOGRAPHERS!OMG...guyssss....
The Capes & Crowns Foundaiton - If you are in the alliance, you should recognize this name. Our tribe is fiercely invested in this organization and their mission! Capes & Crowns Foundation was founded by a talented photographer, Kylie Cole, in an effort to providing photo shoots at no cost to children who are dealing with serious illness, special needs and trauma. Their empowering sessions are unlike anything you have ever seen. Check out this video- but grab the tissues first.
I have been a supporter and fan of Capes & Crowns since the first fundraiser gala in 2016. After years of hustle, heartbreak, emotion, and passion they are growing rapidly. National tours, dedicated teams, sponsors, attention from celebrities! It has been magical to witness.
When I first met Kylie she was a one woman show, working around the clock for the babies who needed empowerment the most. I still do not know how she accomplished all that she accomplished on her own. Fortunately, a team stepped up after witnessing first hand her passion and love.
My #MOBCRUSH is not just on Capes & Crowns! [I could write a novel about all they have done and all the ways I crush on them]. My #MOBCRUSH is also on all the different MOBS that make this team the powerhouse that it is. The women pictured above that dedicate their time, heart, and energy to making this organization thrive. The women who showed up to help Kylie take this to the next level, even though they are already balancing their own families and businesses.
Halsey Hendrickson- Halsey was the first to step up and has since been the perfect side kick and part of the dynamic duo! True definition of super women. Halsey dedicated her talents and her life to this. Traveling the nation with Kylie to bring joy!
Stephanie Young Photo- An insanely talented fine art and fashion photographer. Stephanie has a heart of gold, fiery sense of humor, and a drive that just won't quit!
Janel of Sugar Suds- A creative maker of bath bombs and luxury self care items. Janel was a recipient of a Capes & Crowns empower session and has been dedicated to their success ever since. She wears so many hats, so it is amazing to see her give so much the organization.
Amanda Strong of A Strong Design- Amanda is a graphic designer and systems manager that has completely transformed their website, online systems, branding, and marketing. So appreciative of what she was able to bring to the table!
Karina Tobin of Ktobin Video and Noonday. Seriously, I do not know how Karina does it. Karina has a Noonday business where she is consistently in the top ten of sales in the entire country. On top of this she is a full time teacher and a super talented videographer. You can see her talents on their Youtube Channel. *Hint Subscribe*
Please show your support to all of the women who make up this dream team. Follow their social media, support their individual businesses, and support the mission they hold so dear to their hearts.
Want to get more involved? You can sponsor their upcoming Orlando Tour- where they will be seeing 200 kids in just four days! If you are not able to financially sponsor, please consider sharing the link and inviting all of your friends to LIKE them on Facebook! If you own a business in Orlando, consider donating food, massages, facials, coffee, or wine! I can only imagine how emotionally and physically draining these sessions are. Keep them replenished and recharged. <3
My last MOB Crush on this weeks list...
Pop Awards PDX
The Pop Awards is a new photography contest, gala and benefit that honors female photographers. It was founded by blogger and photographer Sarah Sharp. Sarah is a mover, shaker, and change maker. She saw a lack of representation in the community and set out to do something about it. I love
watching Sarah disrupt the industry, especially as a woman of color taking charge, and showing up space.
I have no doubt that this award ceremony will be the "Oscars" for photography. When I heard of Sarah and the Pop Awards, I just had to get involved. I am really proud to be a judge and to be sponsoring the event with The MOB Nation.
If you are in the Pacific Northwest, you will definitely want to attend this event. November 10th at The Ace Hotel, Downtown Portland.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about these amazing women. Leave a comment below! :) <3
